Zarif says Iran-Turkey relations require constant consultation

Upon his arrival in Turkey, Zarif said, “These consultations have not been held at the highest levels of the two countries due to coronavirus; however, the presidents and ministers and officials have held joint telephone commission phone conversations”.
“I considered it necessary to have a visit to Turkey to discuss bilateral issues, resumption of economic relations, energy cooperation, and regional issues,” he added.
Zarif, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Turkey Sunday night and he is to review the ways for bolstering mutual cooperation on regional and international issues.
