- Iran’s envoy to China hails Beijing’s stance on JCPOA
Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh made the remarks in a reaction to China Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian"s remarks about European countries’ approach toward Iran’s nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
“E3 Foreign Ministers released a joint statement on Iran and upholding JCPOA commitments. Having quit JCPOA, the US has no right to ask the UNSC to trigger sanctions snapback. We urge the US to return to JCPOA and the UNSC resolution,” Lijian said on Monday.
“Beijing’s recent stance against IAEA anti-Iran resolution was decisive and Iran will never forget China"s firm stance,” Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh wrote on his official Twitter account, hailing China’s stance.
