  • Wandering the Streets - Part 33

    10 June 2020 / 15:10

Tehran (ISNA) – Time passes and we get used to the new coronavirus more and more every day.
We get used to reading the news of the coronavirus, daily death toll, new cases as well as new appearances in streets; people who wear face masks, and disposable gloves.
At the beginning of the outbreak, people were constantly thinking when we can hug our family members and friends again, shake hands, and communicate easily.
The new coronavirus is not as frightening for people as it was in the beginning because they have got used to it. As a result, questions about the daily new cases, the death toll, and the end of the coronavirus pandemic are not asked as frequently as they were asked in the beginning.
It seems people have accepted that there is a dangerous virus strolling among them and they continue everyday life despite this danger.

Today, many countries in the world value handicrafts.

After the end of World War II, the handicrafts of countries with ancient civilizations drew the attention of developed countries.

The first international conference of handicrafts was held on 10 July 1964 in New York City in the presence of governments’ officials, university professors, and craftspeople from over 40 countries.

There are many artisans in Iran, especially in Shiraz City. More investment should be made in order to improve the industry of handicrafts in Iran which will solve many economic difficulties in the country as well.
